Cheng Luzheng, also known as Emperor Zhenliang, Tianzi Yu, Duke Yu and Premier Zhenliang of Jurchi'en was the first and most celebrated monarch of The Great Chiang, a extremely powerful and large ancient empire. He is celebrated by the clans of Rhun as the greatest Easterling monarch of all time.
Early Life[]
Cheng Luzheng was born in Xuantong, High Kingdom of Rhuin. His parents were minor nobles and major merchants. His father, Ling Luzheng, was the Representative of the Trade Confederation of Xuantong, a trading union in Xuantong. His mother, Lady Lu of Shun, was a noble from the Rhuin vassal kingdom of Shun, she spent her days writing and preforming music. Cheng lived a strict upbringing, with his calculating father and creative mother, Cheng developed a aptitude for being incredibly sneaky and unpredictable, playing off his father's know-it-all attitude to bypass some of the strict restrictions placed on his life.
Years of Fief and Service[]
At the age of 16, Ling Luzheng signed Cheng up for the Court. He also may have paid off some people and rigged his son's test so he'd pass. Cheng entered the service of court and king that same year, he was ennobled as a Royal Inquisitor, effectively a philosopher and in war times a strategist. He was appointed to a position in the fief of Jurchi'en, a city state in western Rhuin.
