The Northmen, also known as the Rhevain, North-men of Rhovanion or Free Humans of the North, were a large group of Humans that lived in the vast region of Rhovanion. The Northrons were known to be descendants of the Eriedain - tribes akin to the Edain who did not go to Beleriand or returned to Eriador before it´s drowning. The language family that the Northmen spoke is known as Northron.
